People ask me why I don't say much, I tell them, I ain't got much to say.
Here's a poem I wrote while walking my dog - he's a Walldog!
January Thaw
There is a thin layer of cool air that hovers over the snow pack on neighborhood lawns, as the snow evaporates on a warm early January afternoon.
I squint at the bright sun hanging far away at 45 degrees in the clear, baby blue winter sky.
Marcus is happy.
A soft breeze blows up the layer of cool air to envelop me and it smells like delicious fresh vanilla ice cream.
I'm happy in this moment.
